Enjoyable read with a large cast of characters, throw in romance, archaeology, ex lovers, and it s a pretty wild ride The number of various ex girlfriends, lovers, one night stands etc that pass through this little farm, I half expected it to explode tossing lesbians, Roman skeletons, chickens, and college students across the countryside Okay, maybe a little over dramatic, but there are a lot At first not many of the characters are very likable, morals seem to be in shor

I found this book very refreshing, with quirky English characters set in a beautiful part of England For those of you who want real characters, worts and all, Mature characters, after all just because some of us are over 40 doesn t mean we have stopped living and good writing with humour This is the book The plot certainly kept me entertained and reading into the small hours. It is not a book of action, although there is certainly plenty going on, but of typical human emotions, such as jealou I found this book very refreshing, with quirky English ch
No doubt this book is fast paced, entertaining and above average, but I just finished reading In A Small Spot by Caren Werlinger, which has left my emotions shaken In contrast, this book pales in comparison I would have given it 3.5 stars if such a rating is available. Loved it Did not realize this was the author s first book Imagine that This was an excellent story The characters were all flawed on some level or another I feel that was part of the charm of the story I was glued to this book from the very start Can t wait to read the other two books First off, I want to say that I really enjoyed this book I read it in a matter of days, which is quite unusual for me I m a slow reader and I couldn t wait to find out if heartbroken potter Ellie would manage to repair her relationship with her philandering lover, Robin Not only that, but the mystery of who was buried beneath the fields at Starling Hill really kept me on the edge of my chair.Having
