This was from a History of Scandinavia class My bookmark shows that I made it through most of the book I don t remember it being a really compelling read, but it was about a part of the world I knew little about so that made itinteresting Especially in combination with reading the Vinland sagas. Well written parallel study of 5 Scandinavian Countries emphasizing similarities despite unique paths. Great read, very informative, very complete
